Not quite 4 years to the day, San Diego County is on fire again. 2 major fires are burning about 20 miles to the south and to the north of our house. Currently I can smell smoke here at the house, but no glow from the flames. In the last few minutes, the town of Ramona has been issued a mandatory evacuation…for all to head west. There is a lot of terrain to cover before that fire reaches our home, but we are in a state of caution…more to come in the morning.
Currently 8000 acres burned to the north, and 14,000 to the south.
