weekend update:

Another busy weekend: Soccer games birthday party, work on the bathroom. You name it. So here goes

The Red Hots: The increased their record to 6-0 this weekend beating the Shooting Stars 6-0 in the rain. Blondie scored 2 goals in a rear opportunity to play forward, while the Palm tree had an assist playing sweeper. In the last few weeks, the team has really turned it on, by passing the ball well, marking the other teams players on throw ins and goal kicks, along with just following the ball up the field.

 

The Chargers: Beat up on the Raiders this weekend 28-14. And with the exception of a Rivers pass that was intercepted and run back for a TD, they totally dominated Oakland. Tomlinson had nearly 200 yards, and 4 touchdowns. They have a week off this weekend, and Houston comes to town after that. They have the4 chance to go over .500 mark for the first time this season.

 

The tile job that took forever: so were 3 weeks into this thing…we seem to have more and more things come up that prevent us from finishing. This weekend we got the tile grouted and the shower doors in and caulked. I had some water damage that I needed to address, and found a Rats nest behind the drywall that needed to be attended to. With all that stuff taken care of, the grout will be sealed on Wednesday and the toilet back on. this has been a hard few weeks with only one bathroom I cant imagine how some families get along with just one bathroom.

 

Blogging: I’ve been otherwise occupied during the week, and not much time in the evenings, so blogging has been a little less frequent than normal. I used to stress about it, but for now I’m feeling ok with a post or 2 during the week. that being said, I’ve gotten 3 posts in the can tonight.
